Project Architect

About the role

Arcs & Glass is seeking a Project Architect to lead drawing production for multiple off‑plan residential and commercial projects, ensuring the design intent is accurately realized on site. The role combines office‑based design work with regular site visits to verify that construction aligns with issued drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead drawing production across several off‑plan residential and commercial developments, delivering general arrangements, sections, elevations, reflected ceiling plans and construction details.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and interior‑design consultants to identify and resolve clashes before they become on‑site issues.
• Issue revisions, addenda and site instructions as the project evolves, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Review shop drawings and submittals against the original design intent to ensure compliance.
• Maintain a comprehensive drawing register with strict revision control, preventing loose or outdated sheets.
• Produce as‑built drawings and close‑out documentation for project handover.
• Mentor junior architects and CAD technicians, providing guidance on best practices and quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture and registration with ARCON.
• Minimum five years of architectural experience, including at least two years in a project architect capacity.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and 3D Max for detailed modelling and documentation.
• Proven experience delivering multi‑storey projects from design through construction.
• In‑depth knowledge of Nigerian building codes and approval processes.
• Experience with off‑plan or speculative developments is a significant advantage.
