Programme Manager

About the role

The Programme Manager will lead the radio station’s on‑air content, shaping a compelling mix of music, entertainment and talk shows that engages a diverse audience. Working closely with content, production and marketing teams, you will translate the station’s vision into effective programming strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement programming strategies aligned with audience preferences and the station’s brand.
• Oversee scheduling and execution of all on‑air content, ensuring seamless delivery of music, shows and promotions.
• Monitor audience feedback and analytics to continuously improve programming and listener satisfaction.
• Collaborate with social media teams to integrate digital content and promote shows online.
• Manage, mentor and motivate a team of hosts, producers and content creators.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce new formats and ideas.
• Ensure all content complies with legal, regulatory and ethical standards.
• Report performance metrics to senior management and adjust plans accordingly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in radio or media management, preferably in a programme management role.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Creative mindset with a passion for music, entertainment and culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to live and work in Agbor, Delta State.

Required skills

• Experience with audience analytics tools and data‑driven decision making.
• In‑depth knowledge of radio broadcasting, programming and production processes.
• Familiarity with integrating digital and on‑air content.
