Program Coordinator – Legal & Executive Support

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to act as Program Coordinator, providing high‑level executive, legal and strategic support to the CEO. The role combines governance oversight, policy analysis and stakeholder liaison to ensure smooth operation of the organization’s programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the CEO’s calendar, arrange meetings, coordinate travel and handle correspondence.
• Prepare reports, presentations, board documents and strategic briefs; record minutes and follow up on action items.
• Maintain an organized document management system for contracts, governance files and legal records.
• Assist in strategic projects, conduct research, data analysis and policy reviews to inform decision‑making.
• Draft, review and monitor contracts, MOUs, funding agreements and organizational policies for compliance.
• Serve as primary liaison with the Board of Directors, preparing board reports, resolutions and meeting minutes.
• Ensure confidentiality, enforce data‑protection and cybersecurity protocols, and mitigate organisational risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or related field; Master’s degree (LL.M, MBA, MPA) is an advantage.
• 15+ years of experience in executive support, legal advisory or strategic administration, preferably in NGOs, government or corporate settings.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, policy advocacy and contract management.
• Proven ability to handle high‑level administrative, legal and strategic responsibilities for senior executives.
