Professional Driver – Lagos

About the role

Swift Consulting is seeking a reliable driver to transport clients safely across Lagos and its surrounding areas. The role involves planning efficient routes, maintaining the vehicle, and handling occasional delivery errands.

Key responsibilities

• Drive clients safely to assigned locations while adhering to traffic laws.
• Plan routes in advance to avoid delays and heavy traffic.
• Perform daily vehicle checks on fuel, oil, water, tyres, brakes, and lights.
• Keep the vehicle clean, road‑worthy, and serviced as required.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel purchases, and repairs.
• Ensure vehicle documents are valid and report expiries promptly.
• Carry out errands such as deliveries, pickups, and document drop‑offs.
• Report any accidents, faults, or incidents immediately.

Required profile

• Minimum Senior School Certificate Examination.
• Valid driver’s licence and LASDRI card.
• At least 2 years of experience driving high‑profile individuals.
• Excellent knowledge of Lagos roads and alternative routes.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and fault detection.
• Good communication skills and a courteous manner with passengers.
• Physically fit, alert, and able to work flexible hours.
• Honest, punctual, and of good character with a clean driving record.
