Professional Driver

About the role

Hec Recruit is hiring a professional driver in Lagos to safely drive the company vehicle and transport staff, clients and goods to their destinations. The position is full time and based in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Safely drive the company vehicle to transport staff, clients and goods to designated locations.
• Follow all traffic laws and ensure the safety of passengers and goods.
• Plan routes to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrivals.
• Keep the vehicle clean, fueled and in good working condition, carrying out routine checks of oil, brakes, tyres and water.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance.
• Report accidents, incidents or mechanical faults promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE qualification.
• Valid Nigerian driver's licence and LASDRI certification.
• At least 3 years' proven experience as a professional driver in Lagos.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads, routes and traffic regulations.
• Must reside in Lagos and be able to provide a reliable guarantor; no criminal record.

Required skills

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to use navigation apps such as Google Maps.
• Honest, punctual, disciplined and well-mannered.
