Dispatch Rider

About the role

Hec Recruit is recruiting a full-time Dispatch Rider based in Lagos, Nigeria. The rider picks up and delivers packages, documents and goods to designated locations, planning efficient routes and keeping accurate delivery records.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages, documents and goods to designated locations promptly.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Ensure goods are safely transported and delivered in good condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups and collections.
• Collect payments and obtain delivery confirmations where required.
• Keep the motorcycle clean, well maintained and in good working order.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE qualification.
• Valid rider's licence and proven experience as a dispatch rider in Lagos.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and routes, especially mainland and island areas.
• Must reside in Lagos and be familiar with the assigned area.
• Must have a guarantor.

Required skills

• Smartphone and ability to use Google Maps.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of NGN 150,000.
• Fuel allowance or motorcycle provided, depending on company policy.
