About the role

Ujax Engineering is seeking a reliable and professional driver to join its team in Abuja. The role involves more than just transporting staff; the driver will support daily operations by ensuring safe movement of personnel, equipment, and company assets while keeping the vehicle in top condition.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, equipment, and project materials to and from various project sites.
• Perform official company errands, including pickups, deliveries, and dispatch activities.
• Maintain the company vehicle clean, neat, and presentable at all times.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and conduct daily checks on oil, water, tyres, fuel, and overall condition.
• Report any faults, accidents, or maintenance issues promptly.
• Plan efficient and safe routes to avoid delays and ensure timely movement around Abuja.
• Observe proper driving etiquette and comply with all traffic and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of HND.
• Valid driver’s license with proven driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Abuja roads, routes, landmarks, and traffic patterns.
• Clean driving record and responsible driving habits.
• Punctual, organized, respectful, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Professional communication skills with staff, clients, and vendors.
