Production Supervisor – Injection & Blow Moulding

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our injection and blow moulding teams in Abeokuta. You will ensure that machines run efficiently, production targets are met, and quality standards are upheld throughout each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise injection and blow moulding operators, ensuring machines are manned and running according to the daily production plan across all tonnage ranges (80T‑1300T).
• Monitor shift output on a machine‑by‑machine basis, identify shortfalls early, investigate root causes and escalate when necessary.
• Conduct regular floor walks to verify machine status, product quality, correct material usage and adherence to work instructions.
• Coordinate with the maintenance engineer to record downtime, manage stoppages and ensure timely resumption of production.
• Enforce reject and rework segregation procedures and capture shift‑wise reject counts.
• Perform headcount verification at shift start, record attendance, manage operator deployment and report any unauthorised assignments.
• Maintain accurate records of contract versus confirmed staff and flag discrepancies.
• Ensure all operators wear appropriate PPE and comply with safety and quality protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising injection and/or blow moulding production lines.
• Proven ability to manage shift performance, monitor output and handle downtime reporting.
• Strong understanding of machine tonnage ranges (80T‑1300T) and change‑over procedures.
• Experience coordinating with maintenance teams and enforcing safety standards.
• Ability to conduct accurate headcount, attendance tracking and report workforce issues.
