Production Operator

About the role

The Production Operator will work on a manufacturing line to ensure consistent output, quality, and safety. You will support daily operations, monitor equipment performance, and help drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Account for hourly line production output and meet machine/line strike rate targets.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and complete shift hand‑over logs.
• Verify correct date codes on products and maintain product quality standards.
• Execute quality improvement activities (CAPA) and support waste reduction initiatives.
• Monitor overtime, waste levels, PPE compliance, and report critical risks promptly.
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and team members to coordinate the section.
• Support preventive maintenance (PPM) activities and uphold 5S, GMP, and housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• ND/HND/BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology/Microbiology, Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong numerical aptitude, communication, time‑management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities quickly and work effectively in a team.
