Production Executive – Baking Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Production Executive to lead our baking operations in Lagos. You will ensure the timely delivery of high‑quality FMCG bakery products while fostering a safe, efficient, and continuously improving production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily baking production activities and ensure on‑time delivery of finished goods.
• Supervise, train and develop production staff, promoting safety and efficiency.
• Manage and maintain ovens, mixers, blenders and packaging machinery to minimise downtime.
• Monitor production yields, waste and raw‑material consumption; report and analyse performance.
• Develop, refine and standardise recipes, ensuring compliance and innovation.
• Prepare detailed production, costing and operational reports using Microsoft Office.
• Ensure food‑safety, hygiene and quality‑control standards throughout production.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain and quality teams to align schedules with business demand.
• Implement best practices in packaging operations and support automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of production planning and factory operations.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical machinery maintenance.
• Expertise in baking processes and hands‑on recipe formulation.
• Qualified baker with experience in biscuits, cookies, cakes, breads, croissants and related FMCG products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to manage manpower and train staff.
• Packaging‑operations experience and Africa‑region exposure are an advantage.
