Product Owner – Client Experience (Remote, Nigeria)

About the role

We are seeking a Product Owner focused on Client Experience to shape the post‑payment journey of a global digital product used by millions. Based in Nigeria and working fully remote, you will drive activation, reduce friction, and increase satisfaction for paying users across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the post‑payment customer journey, ensuring rapid and consistent user engagement.
• Increase activation by helping paying customers find high‑quality matches and sustain early communication.
• Identify friction points in discovery, recommendation, and matching flows and design data‑driven solutions.
• Optimize personalization of offers, invites, and recommendations based on behavior and preferences.
• Define and refine segmentation strategies to tailor experiences to diverse user needs.
• Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and design teams to test hypotheses, measure impact, and iterate.
• Develop engagement and reactivation mechanics such as gamification and targeted communications.

Required profile

• Strong experience in B2C product management, especially with complex discovery or recommendation systems.
• Proven track record of improving user activation, onboarding, or time‑to‑value in consumer‑facing digital products.
• Solid understanding of post‑payment or subscription‑based customer journey design.
• Experience with data‑driven product development, experimentation, A/B testing, and behavioral analysis.
• Ability to design and improve segmentation, personalization, and recommendation logic.
• Analytical mindset capable of uncovering core user problems beyond surface‑level requests.
• Experience in high‑choice environments where users navigate multiple offers.
• Fluency in Russian.
