Product Controllers

About the role

The Product Controller will oversee the validation, accounting and risk monitoring of the bank’s treasury products, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal policies. This role combines analytical review of positions, income recognition and stress testing with close collaboration with the treasury and risk teams.

Key responsibilities

• Independently review and validate positions, income recognition, valuation and accounting treatments for financial instruments, derivatives and treasury products.
• Monitor daily risk, positions and P&L, ensuring trading activities stay within approved limits and reporting breaches.
• Review Value at Risk calculations and other risk metrics prepared by the Market & Liquidity Risk Department.
• Perform monthly stress tests and sensitivity analyses on interest rates, exchange rates and other market factors.
• Prepare and submit monthly income attribution, performance and risk reports to the Financial Controller and CFO.
• Support month‑end closing activities, financial statement disclosures and management accounts related to treasury products.
• Manage a team of two Product Control Officers and coordinate product set‑up in treasury applications.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product control, treasury accounting or related finance functions.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, ACA or ACCA and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead a small team and work closely with treasury, risk and finance stakeholders.
