Procurement Officer

About the role

Juwon Electric is seeking a proactive Procurement Officer to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services for its operations in Lagos. The role will support the company's supply chain objectives while maintaining compliance with internal policies and legal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and related procurement documentation.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate regular reports.
• Develop and sustain strong vendor relationships and resolve performance issues.
• Conduct market research to identify new products and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIPS is an advantage.
• Minimum three years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
