Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will lead the end‑to‑end purchasing process for construction materials, services and equipment at Cosgrove Investment Limited’s Abuja office. Working closely with project, finance and operations teams, the role ensures timely delivery, cost optimisation and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and proposals for required goods and services.
• Evaluate bids, conduct cost analysis and negotiate terms to secure favourable contracts.
• Draft, review and manage purchase orders and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor vendor performance, track deliveries, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Collaborate with project managers to align procurement activities with project schedules and budgets.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, budget targets and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within a project‑driven environment, preferably in real estate or construction.
• Strong analytical abilities for market research, supplier evaluation and cost analysis.
• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to ethical procurement practices.
