Practice & Quality Assurance Coordinator – Tofa, Kano

About the role

The REACH Practice and Quality Assurance Coordinator will coordinate daily administrative activities of the clinic in Tofa, Kano, ensuring compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high‑quality patient care. The role also supervises support staff, maintains smooth day‑to‑day operations, drives employee engagement and assists the REACH Program Manager in achieving departmental goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor medical policies and procedures for adherence.
• Review medical KPIs and OKRs regularly and provide clinical advice.
• Organise and assign duties to the clinical team, overseeing schedules and staffing levels.
• Evaluate performance of clinical staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Supervise patient care delivery and onboarding of new staff, including face‑to‑face and remote consultations.
• Conduct periodic staff meetings and present data to management.
• Resolve complaints diplomatically and recommend solutions to operational issues.
• Evaluate quality and documentation of medical care and ensure continuous quality assurance.

Required profile

• Degree in Medicine (MBBS, MD, DO, etc.) from a recognized university.
• Completion of compulsory internship and at least 2 years post‑NYSC experience.
• Current registration and license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
