Power Project & Energy Operations Manager

About the role

Sirius Group Nigeria is seeking a seasoned Power Project & Energy Operations Manager to lead the planning, execution, and daily operation of its energy projects in Lagos. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering safe, compliant, and efficient power solutions while driving innovation across the energy value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting for power and energy initiatives.
• Coordinate technical teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to meet project milestones.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of energy assets, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Monitor compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable, cost‑effective solutions.
• Prepare performance reports and present findings to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Energy Systems or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience managing energy or power projects, preferably in the Nigerian market.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management, and decision‑making skills.
