Plumber Technician – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Plumber Technician to install, repair and maintain water supply, drainage and sewage systems for our clients in Port Harcourt and the wider Rivers State area.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain water supply, drainage, sewage and piping systems.
• Fit plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, water heaters, pumps and faucets.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, blueprints and technical specifications.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and replace damaged pipes, valves and fittings.
• Diagnose faults, locate leaks, clear blockages and test systems after work.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide courteous service to clients.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE, Technical Certificate, Trade Test Certificate or equivalent vocational qualification in Plumbing.
• At least 2 years of practical experience as a Plumbing Technician.
• Good knowledge of water distribution, drainage, pumps and sanitary installations.
• Ability to read plumbing drawings and technical manuals.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, at heights or outdoors.
