Playwright / Postman Automation Tester

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester to design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript, and to perform API testing with Postman. The role involves close collaboration with development, product and QA teams to ensure high‑quality releases for web‑based and API‑driven applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automated browser tests with Playwright.
• Create and run API tests in Postman, validating requests, responses, authentication and business logic.
• Perform manual testing activities such as regression, smoke, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
• Develop test plans, test cases, scenarios and test data based on functional and technical specifications.
• Log, prioritize and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr or similar tools.
• Verify defect fixes, conduct regression testing and support release validation.
• Validate REST APIs, JSON responses, database records and system integrations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Monitor automation results, analyse failures and communicate quality risks.
• Contribute to improving automation frameworks, QA processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Own a laptop with reliable internet access.
• Ability to work with U.S.‑based teams across multiple time zones.
