Phone Technician

About the role

Prime Megatech is seeking a full‑time Phone Technician to join its Benin City store. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of smartphones, ensuring each device meets the company’s quality standards before it returns to the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and fix hardware issues such as cracked screens, battery faults, and charging port problems.
• Perform software troubleshooting, including system resets, OS updates, app issues and malware removal.
• Test devices before and after repair to verify proper functionality.
• Maintain accurate repair logs, manage spare parts inventory and keep the workbench organized and safe.
• Provide clear, professional updates to customers on repair status and advise on device care.
• Collaborate with the sales team to answer technical product questions.

Required profile

• Proven experience or training in smartphone hardware and software repair.
• Familiarity with both Android and iOS devices.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Benin City and handle multiple repair requests efficiently.
• Basic computer literacy for using point‑of‑sale and repair management tools.
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training is a plus.

• Use of multimeters, opening tools, soldering equipment and testing devices.
