About the role
Billhills Healthcare and Pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join its team in Marina, Imo. The role involves ensuring safe and effective medication use while providing professional counseling to patients.
Key responsibilities
- Verify and interpret physician prescriptions, ensuring correct dosage and checking for drug interactions.
- Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulations.
- Manage controlled substances according to strict regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and over‑the‑counter options.
- Conduct medication reviews to optimise therapeutic outcomes and monitor patient progress.
Required profile
- Minimum B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar pharmacy role.
- Mid‑level professional with proven competency in dispensing and patient counseling.
