Personal Chef - Full-Time On-Site

About the role

Tribest is recruiting a full-time, on-site Personal Chef based in Abeokuta. The chef plans, prepares and cooks daily meals according to client preferences, dietary requirements and nutritional guidelines, working closely with clients to adjust recipes and provide a personalized dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create weekly menus and prepare meals according to client preferences and dietary needs
• Sourcing and purchasing fresh ingredients
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
• Manage portion control and coordinate meal schedules
• Occasionally prepare special event menus or cater for small gatherings
• Accommodate changing tastes and dietary requests

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Personal Chef, Cook or similar role
• Ability to work independently on-site in Abeokuta, with flexibility for changing client requirements and occasional special events
• Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage; prior experience in private households, hospitality or catering is highly beneficial

Required skills

• Menu planning, meal preparation and plating
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen sanitation standards
• Experience accommodating diverse dietary needs such as vegetarian, low-sodium and allergy-sensitive menus
• Effective communication and good time management and organization
