People Operations Manager

About the role

The People Operations Manager will lead the employee lifecycle at Cirvee Academy, ensuring a positive and high‑performance work environment. This full‑time, on‑site position in Ibadan oversees recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement aligned with the academy’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with Nigerian labour regulations.
• Coordinate training and development programmes to support organisational growth.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and maintain accurate HR records and systems.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for staff on HR‑related matters.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Ability to design and implement HR policies, processes, and frameworks.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience analysing HR data and preparing reports to improve people practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; professional HR certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in an education, training or tech‑focused organisation and familiarity with local labour laws in Nigeria are beneficial.
