About the role

hihilulu is seeking enthusiastic part‑time Chinese teachers to deliver engaging Mandarin lessons to young learners in kindergartens, primary schools and international schools across several countries. The role involves creating an immersive learning environment and supporting students’ progress.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver interactive Chinese language lessons to children in classroom settings.
• Maintain regular communication with schools and parents regarding student progress.
• Participate in mandatory part‑time teacher training (8 hours per week) before teaching.
• Apply hihilulu’s Snowball Teaching Method and curriculum resources.

Required profile

• Legal residency and valid work authorization for the city of assignment.
• Conversational Mandarin proficiency or higher, with confidence to teach in Chinese.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Chinese Language, Education, TCFL/TCSOL, Linguistics or related fields.
• Strong communication and classroom‑management abilities.
• Positive attitude, growth mindset and willingness to adopt innovative teaching methods.
