About the role

The Data Acquisition & Well Logging Operations Instructor will deliver classroom and practical training sessions focused on data acquisition, well logging principles, tools, and operational workflows for learners in Port Harcourt.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training sessions on data acquisition, well logging principles, tools and operational workflows.
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials and learning resources aligned with DATI standards and industry best practices.
• Guide learners through case studies, simulations and hands‑on exercises, assess performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Update course content to reflect evolving industry practices and ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with other trainers to improve program effectiveness and contribute to consulting projects as required.

Required profile

• Academic background in Petroleum Engineering, Geosciences, Data Science or a related field.
• Professional experience in well logging operations, data acquisition or subsurface data interpretation within the oil and gas sector.
• Demonstrated teaching, facilitation or training experience with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and a commitment to learner‑centered instruction and safety standards.
