Parts & Inventory Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Parts & Inventory Manager to oversee our automotive parts inventory and warehouse operations in Abuja. The role will ensure efficient stock control, timely replenishment, and seamless coordination with procurement and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage automotive parts inventory and warehouse activities.
• Develop and maintain inventory control systems.
• Monitor stock levels and trigger timely replenishment of critical parts.
• Forecast inventory needs based on sales and workshop demand.
• Coordinate procurement with approved suppliers.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and audits.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reporting.
• Minimise losses, obsolete stock, and discrepancies.
• Optimise warehouse layout and storage processes.
• Collaborate with workshop, procurement, and finance teams.
• Prepare inventory reports and recommend performance improvements.
• Lead and develop warehouse personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in inventory, warehouse or parts management, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience managing automotive parts inventory is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
• High level of integrity and accountability.
