Outsource Manager

About the role

The Outsource Manager will lead ZTE's outsourcing activities in Lagos, ensuring that external services align with business goals, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with procurement, finance, and operational teams to drive cost‑effective and high‑performing vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
• Monitor outsourced service performance, analyse metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Optimize costs and mitigate risks associated with outsourcing agreements.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance and operations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Prepare regular performance and compliance reports for senior management.
• Support strategic decisions on outsourcing models and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Strong outsourcing management capabilities with experience in vendor oversight.
• Solid analytical skills for performance, cost and risk assessment.
• Background in procurement and contract negotiation.
• Foundational finance knowledge for budgeting and cost control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field.
• Proven experience in vendor or outsource management, preferably in technology or telecom.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail skills.
