Operations Personnel / Freight Officer

About the role

The Operations Personnel / Freight Officer will support all business units of Daudeen Freight Forwarding, ensuring smooth logistical operations across clearing, forwarding, door‑to‑door, and export services. This full‑time position is based in Ipaja, Lagos and focuses on operational efficiency, budget control, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative, financial and HR support to all business units.
• Manage operational budgets, allocate resources and control expenses.
• Conduct regular operational reviews, audits and preventive maintenance.
• Set and monitor operational goals to exceed performance expectations.
• Guide staff in resolving operational issues and ensure timely training and performance assessments.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complaints quickly.
• Organise regular staff meetings to discuss updates, ideas and challenges.
• Develop and implement plans to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Required profile

• OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, operations or related fields.
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
