Operations Manager – Smart Home & Solar Projects

About the role

The Operations Manager will be based on‑site in Ikate, Lekki and will lead day‑to‑day operational activities for smart home automation and solar inverter projects. This full‑time position ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow across sales, technical, installation, and support teams.
• Monitor service delivery, manage vendors and inventory, and enforce compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Track key performance indicators, prepare operational reports, and resolve escalated customer or project issues.
• Implement process improvements to boost efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of operations staff.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with leadership on operational planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management, project coordination, or similar roles, preferably in technology, renewable energy, or construction.
• Strong ability to improve processes, optimise workflows, and develop standard operating procedures.
• Proficiency with basic business tools such as spreadsheets, project‑management or CRM software.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and multitasking capabilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional coordination.
• People‑management experience including coaching, performance feedback and conflict resolution.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and KPIs.
• Interest or knowledge in smart‑home technologies, solar systems, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations or a related discipline.
