Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the daily operational activities of our fintech business in Lagos. You will shape operational strategy, drive process optimisation and ensure seamless service delivery as we scale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, SOPs and service standards.
• Identify bottlenecks, standardise workflows and lead automation initiatives.
• Oversee customer onboarding, KYC verification, account activation and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with CBN, AML/CFT, NDPR and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor payment processing, settlement and transaction reconciliation.
• Manage relationships with payment processors, banks and technology vendors.
• Establish operational KPIs, dashboards and produce regular performance reports.
• Lead, coach and develop the Operations team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in fintech or banking operations.
• Proven ability to manage compliance, risk and regulatory processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective leadership and team‑development capabilities.
