About the role

The Operations Career Accelerator Program is an entry‑level opportunity designed to fast‑track recent graduates into Babban Gona’s field operations. Participants will work directly with smallholder farmers and agro‑processing partners, gaining hands‑on experience while contributing to the organisation’s mission of transforming rural livelihoods in Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day field operations, including coordination with smallholder members and agro‑processing companies.
• Assist in client management activities, ensuring timely delivery of inputs, finance, and market access.
• Collect and analyse operational data to inform decision‑making and improve service delivery.
• Participate in training sessions, field visits, and community outreach initiatives.
• Identify operational challenges and propose practical solutions in collaboration with senior staff.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a strong interest in agriculture, rural development, or related fields.
• Demonstrated commitment to impact‑driven work and a “member first” mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment.
