On-Demand Part-Time Logistics Specialist Associate

About the role

Regolith, a Nigerian company supporting global businesses with equipment and asset supply, management and maintenance across the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa, is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented On-Demand (part-time) Logistics Specialist Associate. This is a hands-on field role supporting local purchasing and fulfillment: supplier coordination, item collection and retrieval, product verification, packaging and shipment handoff. It is not fully remote; local travel to suppliers and to hand off items to logistics partners may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Collect purchased or available work equipment from approved suppliers
• Verify items against the required specifications, quantity and condition
• Safely handle and repackage items for shipment
• Coordinate with couriers, freight providers and other logistics partners
• Prepare and maintain procurement and shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists and waybills
• Provide shipment tracking and delivery updates, and report discrepancies, damage or missing documents promptly
• Maintain accurate records for each fulfilled task and retrieve and store devices when required

Required profile

• Previous experience in procurement, logistics, fulfillment, warehouse operations or a related field is preferred
• Comfortable with hands-on work such as collecting, transporting, packaging and handing over items
• Reliable local transportation
• Smartphone or computer with reliable internet access
• Strong attention to detail, good English and local language communication, and ability to work independently

Compensation

• Independent contractor, commission-based pay per completed fulfillment task
• $100 per large device (e.g. laptops)
• $50 per medium device (e.g. monitors, smartphones, inverters, tables, chairs)
• $10 per small item (e.g. headphones, cables, mouse, keyboards)
