About the role
The Bible Society of Nigeria is recruiting a full-time Staff Bus Driver based in Lagos. The successful candidate will look after assigned vehicles, ensuring they are handled efficiently and kept in good condition.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the effective and efficient use and proper handling of any assigned vehicle.
- Keep assigned vehicle documents valid, complete and up to date.
- Report faults, breakdowns or part defects immediately and follow up until repaired or replaced.
- Ensure prompt servicing of vehicles and monitor quality of service delivery.
- Use the vehicle correctly and appropriately for its intended purpose.
Required profile
- Senior school certificate (SSCE/GCE/NECO).
- Minimum of 5 years of driving experience on buses and trucks; candidates with 10 years of driving experience may also apply.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to drive cars, buses and trucks (16-22 tonnes).
- Knowledge of traffic codes and signs, and a person of integrity, good character and discipline.
- Excellent administrative and communication skills, teamwork and coordination abilities.
