Office Manager

About the role

The Office Manager will oversee daily administrative operations, ensure smooth communication across departments, and support senior management in delivering key business objectives. This position reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a pivotal role in maintaining office efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Organise office meetings and ensure timely execution of agreed actions.
• Manage relationships with insurance brokers for company assets.
• Liaise weekly with the Managing Director to address purchase order actions.
• Oversee office and flat equipment, including payments and repairs.
• Direct customer‑facing communication to expedite orders efficiently.
• Monitor communications with OEM and IOC regarding orders.
• Coordinate with the accountant to set targets and deadlines.
• Provide oversight of company vehicles.
• Review and sign off quotes prepared by expediters.
• Collaborate with expediting and logistics teams on local and long‑distance deliveries.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date asset register in partnership with accountants.
• Support the accounts team during FIRS and LIRS audits.
• Supervise staff and manage ISO audit documentation.

Required profile

• B.Sc or HND in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Office Manager or senior administrative role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence, discretion, and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
