About the role

Pharma‑Tether Health Media Hub is building Africa’s first chronic disease management infrastructure. We need a Nutritionist or Dietitian to design practical food and nutrition systems that fit the daily realities of Nigerian patients living with diabetes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field research with diabetic market women, traders, and civil servants to understand actual eating habits and constraints.
• Map local foods, portion sizes, and glucose‑spike patterns across diverse Nigerian environments.
• Develop affordable, locally‑sourced food substitution plans that maintain glucose stability.
• Create meal‑timing strategies that align with irregular work hours and income patterns.
• Produce clear, actionable food guidance that patients can follow without overhauling their lives.

Required profile

• Certified Nutritionist or Dietitian with experience in metabolic or chronic‑disease nutrition.
• Based in Nigeria and deeply familiar with the local food landscape.
• Committed to ground‑level research and designing solutions that reflect real‑world constraints.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Nigerian dietary patterns and local food ingredients.
• Ability to translate nutritional science into practical, culturally appropriate recommendations.
