Nutrition Advisor

About the role

Nestlé Nigeria is seeking Nutrition Advisors to support infant nutrition initiatives across multiple locations in Nigeria. You will act as a scientific resource for health‑care professionals, delivering accurate product information and ensuring compliance with WHO and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide factual, science‑based information on infant nutrition to health‑care professionals (HCPs) in assigned territories.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key HCPs, identifying opportunities to meet service level needs.
• Identify and resolve issues that hinder territory performance, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date HCP contact list, schedule regular calls, and execute coverage plans.
• Conduct trade checks to ensure compliance with WHO/local codes, product availability, market hygiene, and accurate reporting of competitive activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Nutrition/Dietetics or a related food‑science discipline.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of WHO and local nutrition codes.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
