Nokia IPRAN Engineer – Network Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for experienced Nokia IPRAN Engineers to design, deploy and support large‑scale carrier network infrastructures based on Nokia’s Interconnect Router (IXR) and Service Aggregation Router (SAR) platforms. The role involves hands‑on configuration, troubleshooting and optimisation of Nokia SR‑OS devices to ensure high‑performance service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Nokia 7750 SR, 7250 IXR, 7705 SAR, 7210 SAS and NSP platforms.
• Manage complex routing, MPLS, QoS, synchronization and VPN configurations across IP and MPLS architectures.
• Troubleshoot local and long‑haul circuits, including third‑party vendor issues.
• Generate weekly and monthly network utilisation reports and propose corrective actions.
• Plan and execute software upgrades and network maintenance following Method of Procedure (MOP) standards.
• Provide network status updates to stakeholders and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience with large‑scale Nokia carrier network deployments.
• Strong understanding of Nokia BNG deployment and SR‑OS cell‑site gateways.
• Ability to review and approve network deployment and maintenance plans.
• Relevant Nokia Service Routing Certification (e.g., NRS II, SRA) is a plus.
