Nigeria Country Consultant – Feasibility Study

About the role

Chancen International is seeking a Nigeria‑based consultant to lead market intelligence and stakeholder engagement for a feasibility study on launching an Income Share Agreement (ISA) programme in Nigeria. The consultant will provide on‑the‑ground advisory, assess regulatory and market conditions, and translate local insights into actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive research on Nigeria’s tertiary education, skills development, and labour market landscape.
• Map and engage key stakeholders including universities, training providers, employers, government agencies, and industry associations.
• Gather and analyse data on student financing pathways, regulatory frameworks, and market demand for ISA models.
• Test assumptions with stakeholders, identify opportunities and risks, and contribute to the final feasibility report.
• Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure findings are grounded in Nigeria’s regulatory and market context.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Nigeria’s education, skills development and labour market sectors.
• Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience in market research, feasibility studies, or consultancy within the education or finance sectors.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with fluency in English.
