Network Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales) – Cloud Networking

About the role

Arista Networks is seeking a self‑motivated Pre‑Sales Network Systems Engineer to support customers and prospects across Nigeria and West Africa. This contract position will work closely with account managers to translate customer challenges into innovative networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers to understand customer needs and conduct white‑board network architecture sessions.
• Deliver Arista product presentations and design proposals for data‑center, routing, campus and security solutions.
• Execute hands‑on proof‑of‑concepts and initial network deployments using Arista technologies.
• Create design guidelines and recommend improvements for customer networks.
• Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFQs and manage feature‑request lifecycles from requirement to deployment.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and Development teams.
• Represent Arista at industry events, conferences and author technical white papers or blog articles.
• Stay current on competitive solutions, products and services.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, proactive and flexible team player willing to step out of the comfort zone.
• Fluent in English with a strong sales attitude and ability to drive new business collaboratively.
• Comfortable working on a B2B contract basis.
