Network Support Engineer – Onsite Survey (4‑hour contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Network Support Engineer to carry out an on‑site survey for the 1NET project in Lekki, Lagos. The assignment lasts four hours and involves assessing the existing infrastructure and documenting network assets.

Key responsibilities

• Register entry and follow local site access protocols.
• Capture GPS coordinates and photograph the demarcation point.
• Measure cable route distance between the demarcation point and the communication room.
• Assess network rack details (ID, height, occupied/free units, installed devices) and verify rack stability.
• Record floor space, power feeds, UPS, cooling, grounding, and WAN/LAN device information.
• Check compliance, access control, operational risks and delivery feasibility.
• Coordinate with the remote support team if required and submit a complete observation report.

Required profile

• Basic networking and infrastructure knowledge.
• Comfortable performing hands‑on, on‑site support activities.
• Ability to work independently and produce clear documentation.
• Immediate availability preferred.
