Music Teacher

About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Music Teacher to join our school in Abuja. The successful candidate will deliver engaging music lessons, inspire students to explore their musical abilities, and contribute to a vibrant learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver music lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach basic music theory, rhythm, vocal techniques and introduce simple instruments.
- Encourage student participation in singing, musical games and performances.
- Identify and nurture musical talent and confidence among students.
- Assess progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain records.
- Maintain musical instruments and classroom resources.
- Prepare and submit termly reports and progress updates.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to support school‑wide activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education or a related field.
- Passion for music and working with children.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience.
Required skills
- Basic instrument proficiency.
