Montessori Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Montessori Teacher to join our school in Lekki, Lagos. You will create a prepared environment that nurtures independent learning and supports the holistic development of each child.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Montessori‑based lessons.
• Maintain a prepared classroom that encourages autonomy.
• Observe, assess, and document each child's progress.
• Provide regular feedback to parents and school management.
• Promote positive behaviour and ensure pupil safety.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Montessori certification or formal Montessori training (preferred).
• 2–3 years of teaching experience in a Montessori setting.
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, creative, and nurturing personality.
• Residence in or willingness to commute to Lekki, Lagos.

• Monthly salary between NGN 150,000 and NGN 250,000 (gross).
