Molecular Biology Science Instructor

About the role

DNALC Nigeria is seeking a full‑time Molecular Biology Science Instructor to join its campus at Godfrey Okoye University. The role involves delivering curriculum‑based molecular biology and biotechnology courses and guiding both students and teachers through hands‑on laboratory experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lecture and laboratory sessions in molecular biology, biotechnology and related subjects.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and develop new teaching materials aligned with DNALC’s mission.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Assess student performance, provide feedback, and support educators in curriculum implementation.
• Collaborate with the DNA Learning Center and local partners to enhance training programs.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with strong background in science education.
• Advanced degree (M.Sc. or higher) in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or a related field preferred.
• Experience in teaching or delivering hands‑on science training is an advantage.
• Passion for advancing science education in Nigeria and Africa.
