Media Buying Executive

About the role

The Media Buying Executive plans, negotiates, purchases and manages advertising placements across digital and traditional media to ensure effective brand visibility, audience reach and campaign performance. The role covers channel selection, budget management, rate negotiation, performance monitoring and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute media buying strategies across digital and traditional media, and purchase ad space on Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, radio and television.
• Negotiate rates and placements with media vendors and publishers and ensure timely booking.
• Plan, launch and manage paid campaigns on Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads, optimising targeting, retargeting and ROAS.
• Manage media budgets, track costs and keep accurate records of purchases and invoices.
• Track performance with analytics tools and report on reach, impressions, clicks, engagement, leads, conversions and ROAS.
• Build relationships with agencies, media houses and publishers, and coordinate with marketing, sales and creative teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in media buying, digital advertising or media planning.
• Experience managing advertising budgets and campaign performance.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and TikTok Ads.
• Digital marketing analytics and reporting tools.
• Negotiation, communication and analytical skills; ability to run several campaigns at once.
