About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Craftsman to perform scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs on plant belt equipment, ensuring reliable and safe operation of the facility.

Key responsibilities

Carry out mechanical maintenance on plant belt equipment according to schedules and job plans, observing all safety precautions.
Repair belt systems promptly during breakdowns, including on‑call or shift duties as required.
Prepare breakdown reports detailing causes, corrective actions taken, and spare parts used.
Maintain proper use and care of tools and keep the work area clean after tasks.

Required profile

Minimum 2 years of experience in belt repair and vulcanisation.
Trade Test I, II or III, or City & Guilds qualification.
Good knowledge of work‑place safety rules and relevant equipment.
