Marketing Strategist – Full‑Stack, Social‑First

About the role

Switch is looking for a client‑facing, full‑stack Marketing Strategist who will own accounts and drive integrated, social‑first campaigns across Africa. You will be the strategic brain behind each client’s marketing, translating cultural insights from social media into measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop marketing strategy for a portfolio of clients, starting with social‑first insights and extending to performance, influencer, OOH, radio, TV, and media planning.
• Identify cultural truths on social platforms and translate them into integrated, outcome‑driven campaigns.
• Tie every brief to commercial goals such as trial, repeat purchase, brand love, or market share and define measurement frameworks.
• Use real‑time social signals to adjust strategy during campaigns.
• Lead strategic thinking in pitches, campaign kick‑offs, and client presentations.
• Manage day‑to‑day client relationships, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, delivery, and profitability.
• Expand accounts through strong strategy and execution, securing renewed retainers.

Required profile

• 4–6+ years of experience in marketing strategy, preferably at a full‑service or integrated agency.
• Deep fluency in Nigerian and/or Kenyan consumer culture and markets.
• Commercially minded with a proven ability to grow and maintain client accounts.
• Data‑literate: able to read signals, extract insights, and act while campaigns are live.
