Marketing Officer - Polymer Products

About the role

A client is looking for a results-driven Marketing Officer to support sales and marketing activities for its polymer products, drive market growth and strengthen customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts, orders, deliveries and after-sales support.
• Identify and develop new customers and distributors.
• Conduct market visits and monitor customer needs, industry trends and competitor activity.
• Promote new products, grades and applications.
• Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions and customer engagement activities.
• Gather market intelligence and prepare sales reports, forecasts and marketing updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in sales or marketing within the polymer, petrochemical, plastics manufacturing or chemical industries.
• Knowledge of packaging, plastics manufacturing, polymer applications and downstream markets is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
