Marketing Manager – Nigeria

About the role

Monster Energy is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead the brand’s presence across Nigeria. You will own the local marketing strategy, delivering innovative campaigns and activations that resonate with consumers and drive commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the local marketing strategy in line with Monster’s global brand direction.
• Lead end‑to‑end planning and delivery of events, activations and sponsorships.
• Build impactful campaigns across sport, music, gaming and youth culture.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure marketing activities support business growth.
• Establish and nurture relationships with athletes, influencers, ambassadors and key opinion leaders.
• Drive large‑scale product sampling and consumer engagement programmes.
• Manage local marketing budgets and maximise ROI.
• Oversee merchandising, promotional materials and brand assets.
• Support new product launches and regional marketing initiatives.
• Grow Monster’s presence on digital and social media while maintaining brand consistency.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in brand, trade or consumer marketing.
• Proven track record delivering events, activations or experiential marketing campaigns.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent project management, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English, a full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
