Marketing Manager

About the role

UrbanWish Ltd is preparing to launch its marketplace in Lagos and Abuja. The company is looking for a Marketing Manager to own the go‑to‑market strategy, drive user and provider acquisition, and build a strong brand presence across Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute launch marketing campaigns for Lagos and Abuja, focusing on paid ads, SEO, influencer partnerships and content.
• Manage performance‑marketing channels including Google Ads, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), TikTok and other relevant platforms.
• Own SEO and content strategy to increase organic traffic and improve conversion funnels.
• Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights on traffic, CAC, LTV, bookings and revenue.
• Develop and maintain UrbanWish’s brand voice across landing pages, email campaigns, flyers, videos and social content.
• Coordinate influencer and creator collaborations tailored to the Nigerian market.
• Run newsletter and lifecycle‑marketing campaigns (onboarding, re‑engagement, referrals) for users, providers and investors.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and sales teams to align marketing with feature rollouts and retention initiatives.
• Manage external partners such as creative agencies, PR firms and media buyers, and help scale an in‑house marketing team.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in growth, digital or brand marketing, preferably in startups, marketplaces, fintech or consumer internet.
• Proven track record of executing acquisition campaigns in Nigeria or similar emerging markets.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to test, measure and optimise marketing funnels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
