Manager – Merchant Services and Acquiring

About the role

Visa is seeking a Manager for Merchant Services and Acquiring to lead the market acceptance of a new mobile payment solution across the region. You will work closely with large payment facilitators, acquirers, fintech partners and key merchants to expand Visa’s electronic payment footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Execute merchant acceptance and partner strategies to increase Visa’s market share, transaction volume and data‑processing revenue.
• Drive adoption of Visa payment solutions across top‑tier and marquee merchants.
• Secure and close strategic deals with fintechs and large financial institutions.
• Negotiate and manage large‑scale strategic partnerships to meet regional strategic imperatives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, merchants and third‑party partners.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with key fintechs and merchants to ensure alignment and growth.
• Collaborate with the Head of Merchant Sales, Group Country Managers and regional regulatory teams on industry initiatives and interchange management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in merchant services, acquiring or payments sales within a regional or multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of electronic payment ecosystems, fintech collaborations and regulatory landscapes.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage strategic relationships with banks, merchants and technology partners.
• Excellent negotiation and deal‑closing skills.
