Manager, Field Operations – Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation (West & Central Africa)

About the role

Evidence Action is seeking a Manager, Field Operations to lead Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation (MLE) activities for its programs across West and Central Africa (Nigeria, Liberia, Cameroon). This one‑year contract role will ensure high‑quality data collection, analysis, and use to drive program impact.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and streamline MLE support for all sub‑regional programs.
• Develop, review and maintain monitoring plans that are cost‑effective and aligned with program goals.
• Track MLE results, interpret findings and facilitate data‑driven decision‑making for program teams.
• Represent the MLE team in meetings with partners, government stakeholders and implementing agencies.
• Collaborate with MLE Strategy and Delivery teams to ensure consistent understanding of data across the sub‑region.

Required profile

• Experience managing MLE or monitoring and evaluation functions in international development or public health.
• Proven ability to work with government agencies and multi‑partner environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and impact measurement.
